HOW MUCH DO WEDDING FLOWERS COST AND WHY?
Flowers are a very personal thing. Each wedding gets a different personalized quote after a one on one consultation. When the wedding rolls around I personally touch every stem at least 3 times. From consultation to production to install it is 15+ hours of work. It is very labor intensive and carries the stress of it being the most important day of your life- I REALLY don’t want to screw that up. That is why “wedding” flowers tend to accrue more of a cost than any other type of floral. For a complete wedding that includes table centerpieces, bouquets & boutonnières, altar decor, and set up- you can expect to pay $2,000+ based on the type of flowers you want. I offer a la carte options for all offerings as well as pick up/delivery options. I try to accommodate any budget, but sometimes it does mean choosing the most important item (an altar piece over corsages or vice versa).
WHY SHOULD I HIRE A FLORIST INSTEAD OF DOING DIY?
DIY projects have a very special place in my heart and I will never talk you out of a good mason jar upcycle. I WILL, however, try to to talk you out of DIY flowers…especially if it’s more than just bouquets and centerpieces. Cut flowers have a lifespan of about 10-14 days 5-7 of which is usually taken by farm processing, shipping, and wholesale/retailers. This gives you anywhere from 3-5 useable days to get all your flower projects done and kept fresh for the big day. Arranging flowers yourself is very doable, however, the stress of putting together 20 centerpieces days before your wedding seems like more trouble than it’s worth. You should be celebrating with family and enjoying your last single nights with your squad. Florists are able to take full advantage of the few days before to make sure everything is full of life and beauty, stress free. I will let you make your own personal educated decision about DIY flowers because each wedding is very different! You do you boo boo.

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM?
Yes, I do! Full service weddings start at a $2,000 investment. My average bride spends about $2,500-$3,00o on their wedding florals.
WHAT DOES YOUR “SET UP” INCLUDE?
If you choose to have me and my crew set up your wedding florals it means that we take care of everything prior to the ceremony…as it applies to flowers. We load in, design and install any arbor/chuppah/ceremony florals, make sure all bouquets/body flowers get to the right person, and place all centerpieces. We ALWAYS clean up after ourselves and make sure that we don’t leave a mess before your ceremony. What set up doesn’t include is for us to do the “tablescapes”, unless we have discussed otherwise. We are not responsible for setting linens, dinner settings, candle sticks, runners, or anything else that is not a floral centerpiece. If you would like us to handle the tablescape, please discuss during our consultation. Set up does not include us to come back and dispose of flowers, if you would us to do that service please let us know you would like to add tear down for an extra fee.
